**Communications Business Partner PH & CH**

**PURPOSE**:

- The Communications Business Partner Pharmaceuticals & Consumer Health (PH & CH) advises the business organization in all strategic and conceptual aspects of communications in South Asia (India, Bangladesh, Nepal & Sri Lanka)
- He/she acts as a strategic communications expert and as the single key interface to the business organization
- He/she is responsible for an integrated, holistic topic management and drives communications with regards to all relevant target groups
- He/she reports directly to the Head of Communications & PAS in the country/country group (R and A-line)

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provides comprehensive advice to PH & CH business organization and assists in setting strategic direction
- Develops local communication strategies and concepts based on PH business requirements and global communication strategy
- Develops a new communications strategy for CH business requirements
- Manages topics holistically and develops integrated communication plans, content and activities for all relevant target groups and channels
- Support the development and delivery of PH & CH sustainability-related communications
- Translates PH & CH business topics into messages relevant to target audiences
- Manages issues & crisis in coordination with Business Partner Corporate
- Facilitates thought leadership to manage overall reputation of the business
- Acts as a spokesperson to media on topics related to PH & CH
- Provides timely and insightful reports to respective management tracking the progress made against communications and relevant business goals

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- A university degree, preferably masters or equivalent
- English language fluency in spoken and written in addition to fluency in the local language(s) is a must
- Overall experience level of 15-16 years with minimum 10yrs of related professional experience in positions of responsibility in major corporations with an international scope
- Degree in Communications or related field highly desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deep understanding of policy issues impacting PH & CH businesses
- Strong media and trade/industry associations relationships - particularly with relevant Pharma & Consumer Health forums to provide support to the business
- Expertise in translating business goals into impactful strategies and their implementation
- A comprehensive understanding of traditional/digital media, E-commerce and significant experience determining the appropriate media mix
- Ability to drive a team
- High level of agility and ability to stay calm under pressure
- Successfully embraces and drives change
