**Job description**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Assisting in Procurement & Vendor Management -**
- Support the **Purchase Executive** in sourcing raw materials and packaging materials.
- Assist in vendor selection, negotiations, and follow-ups for timely deliveries.
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and help explore new vendors.
- Collect quotations, compare pricing, and ensure cost-effective procurement.

**2. Purchase Order Processing & Documentation -**
- Follow up with vendors for timely dispatch and delivery of materials as per the **Purchase Order (PO) generated by the Senior Purchase Executive**.
- Verify received materials against POs and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain purchase documents, files and records e.g. purchase requisition / request for proposal, vendor files etc.
- Ensure timely communication between suppliers and the **Purchase Executive** regarding order status and delays.
- **Confirm the delivered material's condition with the Unloading Department Supervisor** - check for any damages, breakages, or missing items then update to **Purchase Executive**.

**3. Inventory & Stock Coordination-**
- Collect the **closing stock report from the Production Department every Saturday**.

**4. Coordination with Internal Departments -**
- Handling logistics management.
- Assist the **Accounts Department** with invoice verification and payment follow-ups.
- Support the **Production Team** by ensuring timely material availability.
- Work with the **Logistics Team** to track incoming shipments and resolve delivery issues.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Software Skills**: Proficiency in Tally Prime systems.
- **Organizational Skills**: Ability to manage purchase follow-ups and stock coordination.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Hindi and Marathi.
