Craftizen is a not for profit company founded in 2014 with a vision to preserve and evolve Indian craft skills so that they remain an integral part of our cultural fabric. We play the role of Craft Architects, building bridges that connect the crafts sector to newer possibilities.

Craftizen works with artisan groups and craft based NGOs across India to build capacity, enable market reach and enhance livelihoods of craftspersons. Through our market-driven programs and initiatives, we address pertinent issues across the handicraft value chain to enable craft groups to scale and sustain their efforts.

One of our projects is the green skilling project that is being implemented as the CSR project of Accenture by Craftizen Foundation. This is the third year of the project and would involve developing a sustainable plan for the partners with focus on production and marketing.
- Objectives of the Project:_
- skill development for marketable products
- environmental focus: promoting reuse and recycling of discarded waste
- enabling livelihoods for marginalized groups

The integral plan of this project is to provide opportunities for persons with no other sources of sustainable income. The beneficiaries include persons with disability, women rescued from and life of trafficking and rural and urban women with limited means of earning a living. The project is a comprehensive approach to skill development that in addition to skill training also involves production, design and marketing support.

**The current focus of the project is to**: 1) Develop sustainable plans for all centers including production, sales and marketing

2) Onboarding new partners and scaling the program across the country to increase the number of beneficiaries and scale of impact **Role: Program Manager - Green Skilling** **Responsibilities**:
**I. Program management** o Responsible for project planning and implementationo Developing sustainable plans for all livelihood centers including skill training, production, sales and marketing in order for them to be income generating all year througho On boarding new partner organizations in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Mumbai, Delhi and other cities to scale the program
- Regular monitoring & evaluation (M&E) of the project across partner centres
- Impact assessment of the program
- Ensure timely allocation and utilization of program budget
- Managing the project team including resources deployed under project funds to partners
- Responsible for timely donor reporting and associated documentation

**II. Capacity Building and Operations**:

- Responsible for ensuring skill training targets for the project are meto Plan for relevant capacity building and training programs for partner organizations
- Responsible for efficient production systems being implemented across all centreso Conducting regular production and process audits at all centers

**III. Production and Marketing**:o Target setting for production of multiple craft products on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis for all centers to achieve target income earning per beneficiary per month.o Planning of sales and revenue targets for the Green Skilling centres, in alignment with the marketing team
- Evaluating market potential for current and new skills and products across multiple platforms and market channelso Understanding sales and marketing capacity of each partner organization to assess their ability to generate local market sales and achieve agreed upon targets

**IV. Partnership Management of Project Partners**o Government of Karnataka (Manasadhara Program), currently working with 4 centres o DNA (disability NGOs alliance)o NGO Partners - at present we have 13 partners o Any other relevant partners and stakeholders; this is a collaborative program

**Travel**:is required to centres in & around Bangalore (Doddaballapur, Mysore, Mandya, Tumkur) and Hyderabad. We are shortly expanding the project to several new cities including Lucknow, Delhi and Mumbai.

**Reporting to: Director Livelihood Programmes**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
