**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and schematics based on engineering designs and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate drafts.
- Revise and update existing drawings as necessary, ensuring they comply with current standards and specifications.
- Perform calculations and measurements to verify the feasibility of designs.
- Maintain documentation of designs, revisions, and project notes.
- Ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and best practices in drafting and design.
- Support manufacturing and construction teams by providing clear and accurate drawings.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in design documents.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman, with a strong portfolio of technical drawings.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in [specific industry or specialization, e.g., HVAC systems, machinery design, etc.].
- Familiarity with BIM tools and practices (optional).
- Certification in CAD or related drafting software.
