Freight Forwarder

Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage international shipments via ocean and rail freight, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and clients to negotiate contracts and secure competitive rates.

Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.

Monitor and track shipments, providing regular updates to clients and addressing any issues that arise.

Ensure compliance with international regulations and standards, including customs requirements and trade laws.

Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving any transportation-related issues.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and carriers to foster long-term partnerships.

Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to optimize shipping processes and services.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in international freight forwarding, with a focus on ocean freight shipping and rail freight.

Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Proficient in logistics software and tools, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- US shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus
