Import Export Trainer

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching & Curriculum Development**:

- Deliver high-quality lectures and workshops on topics related to international trade, import-export regulations, logistics, supply chain management, customs procedures, and international business law.
- Develop and update course materials and curricula to ensure they are current and aligned with industry trends and best practices.
- Incorporate real-world case studies, simulations, and examples to help students understand the practical aspects of international trade.
- Ensure the implementation of learning outcomes and effective student assessments.
- **Student Support & Guidance**:

- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, guiding them in career development and industry knowledge.
- Offer additional support to students through office hours, one-on-one mentoring, and feedback on assignments and exams.
- Organize student clubs, workshops, and seminars on global trade issues and related topics.
- **Industry Engagement**:

- Foster connections with industry professionals, businesses, and global organizations to enhance students' learning experience through guest lectures, internships, and industry projects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, regulations, and technologies in the import-export and international trade sector.
- Conduct research and contribute to the development of knowledge in the field of international trade.
- **Assessment & Reporting**:

- Prepare and grade examinations, assignments, and projects in a timely manner.
- Monitor student progress and performance, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance, attendance, and grades.
- **Other Duties**:

- Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum reviews, and other academic committees.
- Attend professional development workshops, conferences, and seminars to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the overall academic growth and reputation of the institute through various academic and extra-curricular activities.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Master's degree or higher in International Business, International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
- **Experience**: At least 3-5 years of experience working in import-export or international trade, with a solid understanding of global trade regulations, customs, and shipping procedures.
- Previous teaching experience at a higher education level is preferred but not required.
- Industry certifications such as CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport) or equivalent are a plus.

**Skills**:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex topics in a clear and engaging manner.
- Deep knowledge of global trade processes, regulations, and logistics.
- Proficiency in using teaching tools and technology (e.g., learning management systems, virtual classrooms, etc.).
- Ability to engage students through interactive lessons, real-life case studies, and hands-on learning experiences.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to balance teaching responsibilities and administrative tasks.
