**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Instructional Planning and Delivery**:

- Develop and implement lesson plans in music theory, performance, and history, tailored to the grade level and skill of students.
- Teach various aspects of music education, including instrumental and vocal performance, music composition, and music appreciation.
- Utilize diverse teaching methods and resources to engage students and accommodate different learning styles.
- **Performance and Practice**:

- Prepare students for performances, including school concerts, recitals, and competitions.
- Provide individual and group instruction in music performance, including practice techniques and repertoire development.
- Organize and lead rehearsals, ensuring students understand and practice their parts.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Assess and evaluate student progress through performances, assignments, and assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their musical skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the music curriculum.
- Incorporate new and relevant musical content and technologies into the curriculum.
- Adapt lesson plans and materials to meet the needs of students and reflect current music trends.
- **Student Support**:

- Offer additional support and guidance to students through individual or group lessons as needed.
- Create a positive and encouraging classroom environment that fosters a love for music.
- Address student concerns and provide mentorship to help students achieve their musical goals.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay current with developments in music education and trends in the music industry.
- Participate in professional development opportunities, including workshops, conferences, and training sessions.
- Engage in continuous learning to enhance teaching practices and musical knowledge.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student progress and achievements.
- Participate in school events, committees, and activities as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Teaching certification or relevant educational qualifications (e.g., B.Ed.) preferred.

**Experience**:
