**Role Overview**

The Shift Incharge is responsible for supervising and coordinating all operational activities during the assigned shift to ensure smooth, timely, and efficient handling of courier consignments. This includes overseeing sorting, scanning, loading/unloading, dispatch, and ensuring adherence to company service standards and safety protocols.

Language: English, Telugu and Hindi.

**Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management**
- Plan, allocate, and monitor shift-wise tasks to ensure timely parcel sorting, dispatch, and deliveries.
- Supervise loading and unloading of consignments, ensuring proper handling to avoid damages.
- Ensure timely and accurate scanning and data entry of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Monitor vehicle scheduling for pickups and deliveries, ensuring optimal route planning.
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety standards in the hub/warehouse area.

**Team Leadership**
- Lead, guide, and monitor shift staff, drivers, and helpers to achieve daily targets.
- Conduct shift briefings, assign responsibilities, and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Train new employees in operational procedures, safety norms, and system usage.

**Quality & Compliance**
- Ensure all operations comply with company policies, legal requirements, and safety regulations.
- Monitor performance metrics (TAT, damages, misroutes, customer complaints) and take corrective actions.
- Investigate and report operational discrepancies, damages, or losses.

**Reporting & Documentation**
- Prepare shift-end reports detailing volume handled, delays, exceptions, and incidents.
- Maintain proper documentation of consignments, staff attendance, and vehicle logs.
- Coordinate with other shifts to ensure smooth handovers and continuity of operations.

**Qualifications & Skills**

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

**Experience**:

- 2-4 years in courier, logistics, or warehouse operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

**Skills**:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of logistics operations, parcel tracking systems, and scanning devices.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP/WMS systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Working Conditions**
- Rotational shifts (morning/evening/night).
- Physically active role requiring standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
- High-paced environment with strict timelines.

**Performance Indicators (KPIs)**
- On-time dispatch & delivery rates.
- Reduction in shipment damages/misroutes.
- Team productivity & attendance.
- Accuracy in scanning and documentation.
- Compliance with safety and operational protocols.
