Reporting to Delivery Manager/Team Lead for Design, engineering and Development of Exterior Trims & Lighting systems. He should be able to understand overall Exterior Trims, Lighting design & development process & activities involved at every stages of Program And support during Validation and Manufacturing.Responsible for execution of assigend tasks of Engineering and Development within ti me frame. Lighting design & development process & activities involved at every stages of Program -creating Engineering Concept design, master sections, macro feasibility during styling and Define validation plan meeting all requirements of functionality, performance and quality as per TML standards. Customers, Team Lead and Project / Program Manager, Chief Engineer, Engagement Manager, team members, partners and lamp vendors & exterior trim vendors.Reporting to the Team Lead for Design Development of Automotive Lighti ng systems. He/she should be able to understand overall Exterior Trims, Lighting design & development process & activities involved at every stages of Program from Concept to Launch.Need to have overall understanding of activities like post SOP support in Quality improvement and Cost Reduction. Project delivery related to engineering and design from kick off to implementation including QFD, benchmarking, feature analysis, engineering, drawing and model preparation and release, CAE and physical validation support, DFMEA and DVPII. Preparation of Bill of Material in all exterior & Interior Lighting systems.III. Exposure to global requirements for ex terior lamps & Interior lamps in term of regulatory requirements. types of light sources, venting options, reflector designs, optics, sealing section designs, material, air flow, condensation, mounting and GD&T, manufacturing processes (such as multi-K injection molding, lamp assembly techniques, lamps testing & validation etc).IV. Homologation knowledge of Exterior lighting systems and care to be taken in product design.V. Creating master sections of Exterior trims parts and lighting components with interface to meet cr aftsmanship requirements.VI. Finalising mounting strategy of exterior trim parts and lighting components with interface parts to me et robustness and other performance and Quality targets. VII. Expertise on plastic component design and knowledge, understanding o f tooling.VIII. Knowledge of mould flow analysis and understand its effects on final product requirements.IX. Knowledge of various plastic manufacturing process and critical parameters in exterior trims system and lighting systems which affects product requirements.X. Expertise in CAD modeling in Catia V5 and engineering data management systems, TCUA and PLM.XI. Experience in major Automob ile OEM will added advantage.XII. Able to support with inputs in writing or modifying RFQ covering all PAT, product, quality, reli ability requirements.XIII. Team leader should act as a mentor to his junior team members.XIV. Should able to interact with CFT in TML & Supplier companies.XV. Apart from the CAD Engineer related tasks, incumbent is capable of troubleshooting / address issues wi thin the team & solve them accordingly.XVI. Good communication Skils (English written & Verbal)
