Qualification:

- Ph.D. Degree in library science & A Master‘s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point -scale wherever the grading system is followed.

Required Experience:

- At least ten years as a Librarian at any level in University Library or ten years of teaching as Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science or ten years‘ experience as a College Librarian.

**Job Description**:

- The University Librarian, with strong leadership skills, will be responsible for the library collection and operations, supervising library staff and developing library services.
- Responsible for a range of critical functions which includes procurement of books and other resources, e-resource management, user services, and maintaining effective library services.
- Knowledge of library operations, research support services, scholarly communication, and digital transformation of library operations.
- Having information on contemporary digital library practices, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Should have relevant publications in reputed journals.

- Evidence of innovative library services, including the integration of ICT in a library.
