**Role Overview**:
We’re looking for a detail-obsessed, number-savvy Junior Audit Associate to support our US audit team. You’ll be diving into financial records, checking compliance with US GAAP, and making sure everything adds up for our clients’ peace of mind (and the IRS’s approval).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in audit preparation for US-based clients
- Analyze financial statements, ledgers, and trial balances
- Perform walkthroughs, testing, and internal control reviews
- Prepare working papers and documentation as per audit standards
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and IRS standards
- Coordinate with senior auditors and client-side teams
- Flag errors, discrepancies, and risk areas
- Stay on top of deadlines and reporting timelines

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in auditing or accounting (freshers welcome if you’re sharp)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP knowledge = big plus)
- Hands-on with Excel, QuickBooks, or Xero (training can be provided)
- Good communication skills - written and verbal
- Comfortable working US time zones
- Obsession with details and accuracy

**Nice to Have (but not deal-breakers)**:

- Internship or work experience with US clients
- Experience using audit tools or ERP systems
- Familiarity with IRS compliance/audit guidelines
