Fashion Designer

Specializing in Fashion and Leather Design. Will design multiple range in women's and menswear. Assisting with the production of clothing, shoes and accessories, identifying trends, and selecting styles, fabrics, colors, prints and trims for a collection. Design haute couture or ready-to-wear clothing and accesories. With an overall knowledge of process including order follow ups, costing, pricing, fabric souring and packaging.

Design and products sourcing and Development:
Will Participate within the conceptual development of product lines (i.e., sells ideas/concepts and convince others to adopt a course of action).
Developing product for buyer as per buyer mood board, color stories and inspiration board.
Conceptualizing entire range of collection for the various TA (TARGET AUDIENCE) as per the season.
Preparing color charts, fabric charts, style charts as per trend and season.
Responsible for accurate and complete product tech packs and subsequent updates.
Supervising the look team to align them with the seasons calendar.

Production operations:
WILL BE Developing production plans/ schedules to confirm on time achievement of targets as per budgeted parameters.
Market research & survey, mill visit, seasonal trend presentations.
Motif development with both Hand and Machine Embroidery for cost-effective results.
Monitoring production processes & holding meeting with QA / Production department for identifying deviations, meeting AQL & ensuring timely deliveries.
Ensuring internal control of finished products before dispatch to confirm minimum to nil faults.
Develop photo shoot and products shoot samples for presentation.
Fully answerable for evaluating and approving samples throughout production process from lab dibs, to prints, print placement, and overall look of the garment together with Technical Designers.
Coordinating with Pattern masters, Tailors and Craftsmen for Design implementation.
Understanding the complications of garment construction and supervising the creation of those, including fitting, detailing and adaptations.
And Oversee development and ensure timely development of samples.

Merchandising:
Interfacing with the buyers to spot specifications for Garments, leather items and offer prices accordingly.
Regular Communication with Buyers regarding design concept.
Overseeing design & development of samples as per client & market requirements and obtaining approvals from buyers.
Communicating specifications to Designers and Printers to make sure manufacturing as per predefined norms and time specifications.
Designed and Development for existing buyers for order generate and also for retail markets.
Working with cross-functional teams like merchandising, tech, quality, sales, marketing etc., to products to fulfill a short.
Liaising closely with sales, buying and production teams on an ongoing basis to confirm that the merchandise line suits the customer, market and price points.

Sourcing & Procurement:
Managing various operations like sourcing of products, price negotiation, order booking, invoicing, payments, et cetera.
Identifying and developing a reliable supplier base for fabric & trims attachments, CAD, pattern making, cutting, stitching, and following up for timely delivery of raw material.

Tools/ Softwares:
Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Coral Draw.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,910.47 per month
