- Job Purpose
- In line with the Global Planning Processes and Policies, as well as local Planning Procedures, provide Production Planning support to the Research, Engineering, Manufacture and Supply Chain (REMS) Organisation.
The Planner will support the REMS Organization, to ensure the efficient flow of the production operations through scheduling, planning, and monitoring of operations.
- Job Description
Releases orders into production per Production Schedule or as requested.
- Communicate with the warehouse regarding material releases
- Print drawings, Routing, and other related materials to create production order packets for the floor or shipping packets for outside service operations.
- Works with the area leader to prioritize work orders and supports monthly and annual WIP physical inventory efforts.
- Monitors WIP, reviews production needs, and determines priorities of action needed for unscheduled work. Assists with developing a schedule to ensure efficient flow of material through their assigned area.
- Assists with expediting the material movement of critical path materials and updates the progress of WIP Production Orders
- Assists as required in tracking down missing parts or making par substitutions.
