- To initiate and perform laboratory development activities related to Bayer process as per system and to identify process related improvement opportunities through plant data analysis
- Identify development needs of refineries and undertake laboratory development projects with respect to Bayer process in order to improve productivity / reduce cost / improve efficiency
- Identify and fulfil plant engineering needs with respect to improvement opportunities in Bayer plants as well as in Chemical grade alumina operations
- Assist plant personnel in trouble-shooting.
- Design of experiments / Quality planning / Activity planning / Review etc
- Identification of the need / Capability review / Design of experiments / Quality planning / Activity planning / Review etc.
- Conduct experimental work/ design work, as needed.
- Technical documentation of all the work
- Literature scan and technical presentations
- Provide technical support in trouble shooting
