The CNC Turning Centre In-Charge/Setter is responsible for overseeing the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC turning machines. This role involves managing production processes, ensuring quality standards, and leading a team of operators to achieve production targets.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Machine Setup**:

- Lead the setup of CNC turning machines, including selecting and installing tooling, fixtures, and workpieces.
- **Programming**:

- Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs based on technical drawings and production requirements.
- **Operational Oversight**:

- Supervise the operation of CNC turning centres, ensuring efficient and accurate production processes.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Implement and monitor quality control measures, performing inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure product compliance.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Train and mentor CNC operators, promoting best practices and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- **Troubleshooting**:

- Identify and resolve operational issues promptly, making necessary adjustments to machinery and processes.
- **Maintenance Coordination**:

- Schedule and oversee routine maintenance of machines to ensure optimal performance and mínimal downtime.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate production records, including job logs and quality control documentation, for reporting purposes.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe working environment for all team members.
- **Collaboration**:

- Coordinate with other departments to align production schedules and meet project deadlines.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining or related field is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Extensive experience as a CNC setter, with proven expertise in CNC turning operations.
- **Skills**:

- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- In-depth knowledge of CNC programming and machine operation.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality control processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- **Personal Attributes**:

- Strong leadership skills with a commitment to team development and quality production.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
- Capability to stand for extended periods while operating machinery.
- Manual dexterity for precise machine adjustments.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and noise.
- Must adhere to safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
