JOB DISCRIPTION

**Responsibilities**:

- **Instruction**: Teach students of varying ages and skill levels in the fundamentals of music theory and dance techniques.
- **Music Instruction**:

- Teach basic music theory concepts such as notes, rhythms, scales, and composition.
- Provide individual and group instruction on a specific musical instrument (e.g., piano, guitar, violin) or vocal technique.
- Lead rehearsals for student ensembles, such as choirs, bands, or orchestras.
- **Dance Instruction**:

- Teach various styles of dance, such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, or contemporary, adapting techniques to suit student abilities.
- Demonstrate and instruct dance movements, steps, and choreography.
- Direct rehearsals for dance performances and recitals.
- **Performance Preparation**: Prepare students for music and dance recitals, concerts, and competitions by selecting appropriate repertoire and choreography, coaching on performance techniques, and organizing performance opportunities.
- **Curriculum Development**: Design lesson plans and curriculum materials for both music and dance classes, ensuring alignment with educational standards and catering to the diverse needs and interests of students.
- **Assessment and Feedback**: Evaluate students' progress in both music and dance through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills and understanding.
- **Classroom Management**: Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment in both music and dance studios, manage student behavior effectively, and enforce studio rules and policies.
- **Communication**: Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues regarding lesson schedules, student progress, and upcoming events for both music and dance classes.
- **Professional Development**: Stay informed about current trends and best practices in music and dance education through workshops, conferences, and professional development opportunities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Dance Education, or related field (required)
- Proficiency in at least one musical instrument or vocal technique (for music teacher)
- Proficiency in at least one style of dance (for dance teacher)
- Previous teaching experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for music and dance and dedication to fostering students' artistic growth

**Schedule**: Full-time/part-time (depending on the institution) with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for rehearsals and performances.

Pay: ₹8,842.54 - ₹38,590.48 per month
