Freight Broker

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Freight Broker to join our team. As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for facilitating the transportation of goods between shippers and carriers. Your primary duties will include negotiating freight rates, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. **Responsibilities**: 1. **Client Management**: Build and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers to facilitate the movement of goods. 2. **Freight Negotiation**: Negotiate competitive freight rates with carriers to secure cost-effective transportation solutions. 3. **Shipment Coordination**: Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods. 4. **Documentation**: Prepare and manage all necessary documentation, including bills of lading and shipping manifests. 5. **Problem Resolution**: Address any issues or delays that arise during the transportation process, ensuring swift resolution. 6. **Market Analysis**: Stay informed about industry trends, market rates, and regulations to make informed decisions and recommendations. 7. **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards. 8. **Customer Service**: Provide exceptional customer service to both shippers and carriers, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. **Requirements**: 1. **Experience**: Previous experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar role is preferred. 2. **Negotiation Skills**: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure favorable freight rates. 3. **Communication**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships. 4. **Organizational Skills**: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple shipments simultaneously. 5. **Problem-Solving**: Proven ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment. 6. **Industry Knowledge**: Knowledge of transportation industry regulations, trends, and best practices. 7. **Technology Proficiency**: Proficiency with transportation management software and other relevant tools. 8. **Education**: A bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred. **Benefits**: - Competitive salary and commission structure - Health insurance - Retirement savings plan - Paid time off and holidays - Opportunities for professional development and advancement Join our team and play a crucial role in facilitating the movement of goods and driving our company's success in the transportation industry.

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
