**Strategic Responsibilities**:
1. Define and document Atmantan’s Ayurvedic offering so that it can be understood, adopted and smoothly implemented across all of Atmantan’s operations.

2. To have overall responsibility and accountability as Atmantan’s medical officer for providing medical coverage for all guest and staff illnesses, including all medical emergency protocols. Operational Responsibilities

3. Provide Ayurvedic consultations programs and services to guests to fit alongside Atmantan’s other wellness modalities.

4. Responsible for the selection and delivery of all Ayurvedic treatments, procedures and protocols within the Atmantan menu including training therapists and guiding wellness advisors in Ayurvedic theory and practical skills.

5. Responsible for the make up and direction of the Ayurvedic retreat for Atmantan.

6. Provide nutritional guidance to the Executive chef on Ayurvedic cuisine and help with the creation and testing of Ayurvedic recipes.

7. Assist the Health and Wellness Director in the selection of the Ayurvedic product line (professional and retail) and continually research new products/potential offerings.

8. Provide licensed medical coverage for Atmantan, including the following areas:
I. Supervise and sign off on all prescriptions

II. Management of all guest illness through the nursing team and outside service providers

III. Responsible for emergency medical protocols IV. Provide medical assessment of staff illness.

9. Assist the Health and Wellness Director in setting medical standards and protocols, including helping to develop and maintain medical records and standards.

10. Daily liaison with team members on individual guest progress.

11. Provide education to Atmantan’s staff on disease information, hygiene, preventative strategies, and treatment modalities at times of emerging epidemics and/or pandemics.

12. Provide promotional day or evening guest lectures on Ayurvedic therapies and related medicine.

**Applicant Specifications**:
1. Minimum - Bachelor’s degree in Ayurvedic Medicine.

2. At least Two years’ experience as an Ayurvedic practitioner

3. At least two years management experience, preferably in a hospitality setting

4. Excellent interpersonal and clinical skills with the ability to inspire guests to a healthier living.

5. Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills (English and Hindi) and computer skills.

6. Guest focused integrative, co-operative approach with guests and colleagues

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
