**What this job involves**:
At JLL, we are driving sustainability through everything that we do. We are building up our Sustainability practice, to drive our end-to-end sustainability solutions in commercial real estate, including: Client Solutions, Strategy Consulting, Performance & Design, and Operations.
This role is embedded in on of JLL’s core sustainability services organisation: Asset Performance & Modelling team, where you will be involved in repurposing assets to meet challenging sustainability targets and objectives. Projects will include designing and delivering approaches to reach client sustainability performance indicators, while ensuring return on investment.
As an Energy Modeller, you will be responsible for performing Building Performance Simulations using IES VE and/or IES iCD. You will work as part of a team to help set up geometry models, calibrate the model, run base simulations, and ultimately run carbon/energy reduction scenario simulations. You will be part of the Global Asset Performance and Modelling team, as part of JLL's Core Sustainability Services.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Use IES VE (Apache Sim and HVAC) and IES iCD to perform Building Performance Simulations.
Set up geometry models, calibrate the model, and run base simulations.
Run carbon/energy reduction scenario simulations.
Work closely with the Sustainability engineering teams to understand project requirements and deliver the required analyses.
Ensure all analyses are delivered on time and to the required quality standards.
Provide support to other team members as required.
Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in Building Performance Simulation software and techniques.
Work with in-house cost management team to evaluate cost-efficient high-performance building design solutions.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
At least 5-7 years of experience in Building Performance Simulation using IES VE and/or IES iCD.
Excellent knowledge of IES VE. Knowledge in IES iCD software is a plus
Good Team management skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality work on time.
A passion for sustainable and high-performance building design.
A good understanding of related building regulation issues.
Fluency in English is essential.
