**Job Description: Mobile Architect**

Workplace Options (WPO) requires a Senior Mobile Architect to lead the solution design for mobile products serving both iOS and Android apps, who is still ready to get into development in both the platforms. An Architect who maintains expertise in the current and emerging mobile technologies and tools.

- Transparently convey the status, challenges, and methods used for design and development.

**Role Expectations**:

- Define the overall architecture and design solutions for both iOS and Android apps.
- Collaborate with business and development team to create architecture, represent the team in all architectural and technical discussions.
- Produce documentation to aid in the understanding of existing architecture solutions.
- **Experience and Skill Expectations**
Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages like Kotlin/Java/Android Studio Development and IOS Swift
- Expert understanding of Mobile design patterns like MVVM, DI, Retrofit and clean architecture pattern
- Experience in Android Architecture Components, Android SDK, dependency injection, RESTful web services, Android Studio and solutions such as Junit, Realm
- In depth Understanding of Apple's recommended design principles and interface guidelines
- Proficient with, Architectural Design Patterns, Deep knowledge on one or more tech stacks, identify alternative tech choices and trade-offs
- Extensive experience working with SDK development and enhancement as a platform experience is mandatory
- Experience with third-party libraries, Custom libraries and API
- Expert knowledge of iOS SDK, XCode and other associated tools for development, debugging and instrumentation.
- Experience in Objective C/ Swift/ Cocoa Deep expertise in Objective C, Swift, Cocoa Touch and Cocoa frameworks
- Experience with concepts of iOS - Swift, asynchronous programming, background task, functional reactive programming, design patterns, dependency injection etc.
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems.
- A strong understanding of commonly used design patterns, MVC, Object-Oriented and SOLID principle is mandatory
- Understanding of emerging technologies, standards, and best practices for mobile development
Familiarity with Agile development including daily scrum and weekly iteration reviews and planning
- Good knowledge about OOPS concepts, data structures, algorithms
- Strong analytical and logical skills, good communication skills.
