The Lab Technician is responsible for supporting laboratory operations by preparing and conducting experiments, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the accuracy of results. They assist in research and analysis activities, ensuring that laboratory processes are efficient, safe, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and set up lab equipment, materials, and samples for testing and experiments.
- Conduct routine laboratory tests and experiments, recording observations and results.
- Maintain, clean, and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Assist with the analysis of results and documentation of findings.
- Follow established lab protocols and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support research and development activities, contributing to scientific investigations.
- Ensure the proper disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and request restocking as needed.
- Document and report test results accurately, and assist in preparing reports for management or research teams.
- Adhere to quality control procedures and ensure accuracy in data collection and analysis.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in a related field preferred).
- Prior experience in a laboratory setting is a plus.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.

**Skills**:

- Familiarity with laboratory techniques and testing equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and hazardous materials with care.
- Good record-keeping and documentation skills.
