Who we are looking for Why this role is important to us The team that you will be joining involves Regulatory activities and as a part of the Regulatory Oversight/Trade Reporting team, we have to ensure that State Street is compliant with CFTC trade reporting regulations under the Dodd Frank Act. State Street Bank & Trust Co., as a registered Swap Dealer, has an obligation to report all FX Trades to Depository Trust Clearing Corporation (DTCC.) Also, State Street is required to meet the reporting requirements for Part 43 and Part 45 of the Code of Federal Regulations. What you will be responsible for - Perform daily review of reportable trades to ensure compliance with CFTC trade reporting regulations under the Dodd Frank Act, including the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the data reported - Ensure that the company is meeting its Regulatory Obligation to report trades to an authorized trade repository - Ensure that the regulatory reports (CFTC and SDR) are generated in a timely manner - Produce weekly and monthly metrics around trade data and issues - Resolve and escalate trade reporting issues proactively and in a timely manner - Maintain strong working relationship with internal counterparts, Clients, Traders, IT and Operations - Track and monitor potential trade reporting issues/delay - Respond to queries regarding the status of specific requests - Demonstrate a high standard of care while preparing the Regulatory Reports What we value Skills & Knowledge - Prior Regulatory Oversight/Trade Reporting/Regulatory Reporting/Dodd Frank and CFTC Regulations/Reporting experience would be a plus - Excellent communication skills in oral and written forms - Strong team player - Strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure - Strong problem-solving skills and "can do" attitude - Strong organizational skills - Ability to identify and appropriately escalate issues and risks - Perform work independently on specific assignments - Strong attention to detail - The desire to see an issue through to completion - The desire to play a part in issue resolution - Pride in one’s personal work and an understanding of how it impacts the organization Education & Preferred Qualifications - M.Com/MBA in Finance Additional Requirements - Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in Investment Banking domain - Shift Timings: 3 PM to 12 AM IST - Work Location: Hyderabad About State Street What we do.
