We are looking for an enthusiastic Accounting Intern to join our accounting team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Shadow members of the Accounting department as they perform their duties.
- Assist with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
- Learn how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or teams.
- Monitor any discrepancies in payment, monitor for charges made on credit cards and record any returns.
- Speak to teammates about payments, refunds and statements.
- Help with accounts receivable, payable, and bank statement reconciliation
- Assist in the preparation of journal entries related to monthly General Ledger activity and adjusting journal entries.
- Analyze and research financial information pertaining to statements of operations, assets, liabilities, and capital.

**Requirements**:

- Must be a recent graduate or actively working towards a Bachelor’s or Masters in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
- Knowledge of TDS and GST will be a plus.
- Aptitude for math, proficiency with computers.
- High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented, dynamic and changing environment.

**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: ₹5,000.00 - ₹7,500.00 per month

- Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
