**Job Title: Dental Auditor**

**Job Overview**:
As a Dental Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our dental practice's financial records, internal controls, and operational processes. You will work closely with our management team to conduct audits, assess risks, and make recommendations for process improvements, ultimately contributing to the overall success and integrity of our practice.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct internal audits of financial transactions, billing processes, and dental practice operations to ensure adherence to relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management practices to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Review patient records, treatment plans, and billing documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Verify insurance claims, payment transactions, and financial data to ensure proper recording and reporting.
- Investigate any discrepancies, financial irregularities, or potential cases of fraud, and recommend appropriate actions to resolve issues.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, observations, and recommendations for management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the dental team to address any identified deficiencies, develop action plans, and monitor the implementation of corrective measures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in auditing practices to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in auditing, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and auditing standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with team members and external stakeholders effectively.
- Integrity, honesty, and an objective mindset to maintain the highest standards of professional conduct.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is an advantage.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software.
