We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team at Outliners. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand's vision and objectives. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including promotional videos, tutorials, social media content, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
Video Editing: Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging, and visually appealing videos that meet the requirements of each project. This includes selecting the best shots, trimming and arranging clips, adding transitions, audio editing, color grading, Reels Editing, and incorporating visual effects as needed.

Storytelling: Collaborate with the content team to understand the desired message and story of each video project. Use your creative skills to enhance the narrative through effective sequencing, pacing, and visual storytelling techniques.

Technical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) to perform tasks such as video trimming, cropping, audio synchronization, and visual effects integration. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and software advancements to continuously improve editing techniques.

Asset Management: Organize and maintain a library of video assets, including raw footage, audio files, graphics, and other relevant resources. Ensure that files are appropriately named, labeled, and easily accessible for future use.

Quality Control: Review edited videos for quality assurance, ensuring they are free from technical errors, and adhere to Outliners' brand guidelines, visual standards, and best practices.

Post-Production Processes: Export videos in various formats and resolutions suitable for different platforms, such as YouTube, social media channels, and the Outliners website. Optimize videos for different devices and screen sizes to ensure a seamless viewing experience.

Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role

Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

Strong understanding of video editing principles, techniques, and best practices

Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects is a plus

Knowledge of various video formats, codecs, and compression settings

Excellent eye for detail, composition, and timing

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment

Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with stakeholders
