**About the Job**:
As a Presales Writer, you will be responsible for working with the sales enablement team to produce content that perfectly articulates ClearTrail’s value proposition, solution narrative and product descriptions that help us win proposals. This role involves researching products information, collaborating with product managers & business development teams to create documents, presentations, reports & more that communicate complex technologies to our customers with ease.
Your job will involve miniscule understanding to detail and delivering the responses to the customers as per deadlines. You will also be responsible for reviewing and publishing documents that meet company standards and deem appropriate for federal and state security agencies.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Re-write / edit proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving sales, marketing, product & support team.
- Cater to addressing the following requirements related to Tender submissions and Request-for-Proposal (RFP) responses:

- Getting a detailed understanding of the tender/RFP documents
- Preparing notes related to submission guidelines, terms and conditions, supporting documents required, etc.
- Work with the technical team to understand and prepare a technical solution and other supporting documents to meet the client’s/RFP/RFI’s requirements.
- Format and proofread for final submission
- Create easy-to-understand presentations and technical documents that incorporate animation, graphs, illustrations, or photographs to increase users’ understanding of the offerings.
- Collect user feedback to update and improve content. Proofread and publish the content and ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
- Develop and maintain detailed databases/repository of documents, presentations, appropriate reference materials.
- Create content for product user manuals, video scripts, solution briefs, installation guides, datasheets, whitepapers, case studies and webinar.

**Skills**:

- Proven work experience in software products space as a Technical/Proposal Writer who has responded to RFPs and tenders
- Passionate about understanding & articulating technologies
- Possessing Stakeholder Management Skills to deal with & meet information requirements of stakeholders
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Knowledge of tools and technologies such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Snagit, Adobe Frame Maker, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat Professional, etc.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Technical/Proposal Writer documenting software product
- Graduate in Technology related field, Postgraduate (MBA / MTech / MCA / IT) will be a plus
