Experience
- 5+ years of overall QA experience with good core testing skills which involves test cases designing, test strategy, test data creation.
- Good programming skills (Java / Ruby / Python / Node. js / JavaScript)
- 3+ years of experience in backend automation testing with expertise in API Automation testing frameworks (Custom, RestAssured, etc).
- Good understanding of querying databases preferably Postgress
- Good understanding of CI/CD - Gitlab to run per scripts using Gatling
- Good understanding of BDD and integration test cases automation along with exp using Postman.
- Prior experience with performance/load testing using Gatling

Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of cross functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery - Designing, developing and supporting frameworks for our test infrastructure and providing automation expertise to our development teams - Contributing toward predictable delivery of quality releases - Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation - Mentor team members on best practices in automation - Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team; generating, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to solve them - Be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and test results - Ensure that all tests are executed and give regular feedback to the team lead on the status of quality - Use appropriate measures and KPIs to validate and report on software quality
- Work closely with the software engineering team, Product Management and Technical Operations as well as business users and Senior Management, as required
- Be a creative thinker who can quickly identify and test for functional ‘edge cases’ outside of expected functionality workflow

Soft Skills required
- Demonstrate a track record with standard SDLC and Agile implementation techniques. Knowledge on how Squads operate.
- Good communication skills - English is a must.
- Team player and ability to work with different multi-cultural teams.
- Proactive attitude on identifying problems and providing solutions.
- Creative and innovative thinking is appreciated.

**Job Type**: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: Up to ₹2,500,000.00 per year
