Responsibilities:

- Manage library resources, including books, periodicals, digital media, and other materials, ensuring they are properly cataloged, organized, and accessible to patrons.
- Assist patrons in locating resources, providing reference services, and conducting research.
- Develop and implement library programs and services to meet the needs and interests of the community, such as book clubs, author talks, and educational workshops.
- Collaborate with teachers and other educators to support curriculum needs and promote information literacy skills among students.
- Maintain and update library collections, including selecting new materials for acquisition and withdrawing outdated or damaged items.
- Supervise library assistants and volunteers, delegating tasks and providing guidance as needed.
- Stay informed about current trends and developments in library science, including technology and information management systems.
- Promote library services and programs through outreach efforts, including social media, newsletters, and community events.
- Ensure the library facility is clean, safe, and welcoming for all patrons, adhering to established policies and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Master's degree in Library Science or Information Science from an ALA-accredited program.
- Previous experience working in a library setting, with knowledge of library operations, cataloging systems, and reference tools.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with patrons of all ages and backgrounds.
- Proficiency with library management software and digital resources.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing priorities and needs.
- Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive library environment.
- Passion for reading, learning, and promoting literacy within the community.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
