**Job Title**: Automobile Receptionist**Reports to**: Service Manager or Front Office Manager**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet customers warmly as they arrive at the dealership or service center.
- Answer inquiries regarding services, pricing, and appointment availability.
- Direct customers to appropriate departments, such as sales, service, or parts.
- **Appointment Coordination**:

- Schedule service appointments and maintain the appointment calendar.
- **Communication**:

- Answer and route phone calls efficiently to the appropriate team members.
- Communicate with service advisors and technicians about customer needs and requests.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Process customer paperwork, including service requests and repair orders.
- Handle payment transactions, including cash, credit, and financing options.
- **Record Keeping**:

- Enter customer details and service history into the system.
- Ensure all records are updated and accurate for future reference.
- **Customer Follow-Up**:

- Assist in contacting customers to inform them of service completion.
- Collect feedback and ensure customer satisfaction with services rendered.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in customer service or administrative roles (automotive experience preferred).
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office) and dealership management systems (DMS).
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair terminology.

**Work Environment**:

- Primarily works in the reception area of the dealership or service center.
