Business Controller, Hyderabad Pc

**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE / FUNCTIONAL CONTEXT**:
The Business Controller will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the financial success and growth of the organization. This position is tasked with providing strategic financial insights, fostering data-driven decision-making, and enhancing financial performance. By aligning financial objectives with business goals, the Business Controller will help steer the organization toward ambitious growth targets, ensuring effective resource utilization, and supporting key business decisions.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**FINANCIAL ANALYSIS AND REPORTING**
- Deliver comprehensive financial analysis and performance reports, providing insights to support business decisions.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance robust financial reporting processes that accurately reflect the organization’s financial performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide variance analysis, identifying areas for improvement and risk mitigation.

**Monthly**
- Review & approve monthly reports related to People Management, Sales, Cost of Goods, Stocks, Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Balance Sheet Schedules in ECS.
- Update monthly results & status of business at Epiroc SharePoint.
- Review Bridge between Previous periods to Current Period.
- Preparation of Product Line Income Statement.
- Support cross functional team for sustainable growth,

**Quarterly**
- PK Bridge
- Preparation of Expectancies viz 3M Exp & 12M Exp after discussing with General Manager.
- Review & approve Additional information relating Employees in ECS.
- Review and approve Sustain report in ECS.

**Yearly Activities**:

- Review Annual Schedules relating to FAM lines in ECS.

**Other **Activities**:

- Co-ordinate & facilitate Internal Audit, Group Audit, Statutory Audit, Tax Audit and ISO Audit.
- Prepare and compile Company Review Meeting (CRM) presentation.

**BUDGETING AND FORECASTING**
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop dynamic financial forecasts that support agile business planning.
- Identify and implement best practices in forecasting to enhance accuracy and flexibility in financial planning.

**BUSINESS PARTNERING**
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to senior management and business unit leaders, fostering a partnership-driven approach to achieving growth objectives.
- Support and challenge business unit leaders in financial decision-making, using financial data to drive efficiency and profitability.
- Provide guidance on strategic initiatives, ensuring financial feasibility and optimal resource allocation.

**FINANCIAL CONTROL AND COMPLIANCE**
- Oversee and enhance financial controls and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks to support a strong internal control environment.
- Collaborate with external auditors to streamline audit processes and support transparent financial reporting.

**STRATEGIC INITIATIVES AND GROWTH SUPPORT**
- Lead financial evaluations for new business opportunities, including M&A, partnerships, and expansions.
- Develop business cases for investment opportunities, providing insights on ROI, payback periods, and risk assessments.
- Support the execution of growth initiatives by providing financial modelling, scenario analysis, and alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.

**PROCESS IMPROVEMENT AND AUTOMATION**
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, leveraging technology to automate reporting and analysis tasks.
- Implement financial tools and systems to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability in financial operations.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**:
**Educational**: Graduation Degree in Accounting of Finance. CA/CWA

**Experiential**: 10+ years of experience in accounts in a Manufacturing Setup of Mining Equipment & Consumables, Auto & Engineering Industry. Preferably 3-4 years of relevant experience in Finance lead in managerial capacity

**Knowledge**:

- Good knowledge of Financial Accounting, with good experience in factory related Statutory (Commercial laws) requirements.
- Should have knowledge of Direct and Indirect Tax Laws
- Must have significant exposure to Costing systems and processes.
- Good Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Power Point, ERP (infor M3 preferred).
