**Job Overview**:
As a Production Planner Intern, you will assist in the efficient planning and coordination of production activities from sales order processing to the manufacturing departments, including Turning, Milling, and Grinding. Your role will involve ensuring timely production to avoid pending orders and improve workflow efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Scheduling**:

- Assist in preparing production schedules based on sales orders and deadlines.
- Coordinate with various departments (Turning, Milling, Grinding) to ensure smooth production flow.
- **Order Tracking**:

- Monitor the status of orders from initiation to completion to prevent delays.
- Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to minimize lead times.
- **Inventory Coordination**:

- Ensure raw materials and components are available for production as per schedule.
- Collaborate with inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- **Process Optimization**:

- Analyze production workflows to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support the implementation of best practices in planning and scheduling.
- **Communication & Reporting**:

- Communicate order priorities and schedules to production teams.
- Generate daily and weekly reports on production progress and pending orders.
- **Problem Resolution**:

- Assist in identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts or delays.
- Work with cross-functional teams to address production challenges.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (Turning, Milling, Grinding preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹11,000.00 per month
