Cook for Ashram

**Job description**

We are urgently looking for a Cook for our Ashram at Vrindavan. Immediate joiners preferred.

*Prepare Satvik meals for Thakur Ji as per spiritual guidelines.

*Cook daily vegetarian meals for Ashram residents, devotees, and staff based on the fixed menu.

*Handle special bhog preparations during festivals and temple functions.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized kitchen environment.

*Cut, clean, and prepare vegetables and ingredients as required.

*Supervise and guide kitchen assistants to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

*Ensure meals are prepared and served on time.

*Monitor grocery stock and raise purchase requests in advance.

*Clean kitchen tools, utensils, and equipment regularly.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Satvik/vegetarian cooking, preferably in a temple, Ashram, or large kitchen setup.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, especially during religious events.
- Experience in preparing bhog offerings in a devotional setup is highly preferred.
- Team management and coordination with other kitchen staff.
- Devotional, disciplined, and respectful nature.

Additional Information:

- Accommodation will be provided within the Ashram premises.
- Meals will be included as part of the employment.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 5 years (preferred)
