Lab Incharge- Fabric

Responsible for managing the lab, overseeing tests, and ensuring the quality of the tests performed.
- **Laboratory Management**: Oversee the daily operations of the têxtile laboratory, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- **Testing & Quality Control**: Ensure that all têxtile materials are tested according to international and industry-specific standards (e.g., ISO) for quality, safety, and durability.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead and manage a team of lab technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of work.
- **Research & Development Support**: Collaborate with the R&D department to develop and improve new têxtile materials and processes.
- **Process Improvement**: Implement process improvements to enhance testing accuracy, reduce errors, and improve efficiency within the laboratory.
- **Compliance & Standards**: Ensure all testing processes comply with industry regulations and standards. Maintain lab certifications and manage audits.
- **Reporting & Documentation**: Prepare and maintain clear, concise reports on lab activities, test results, and quality assessments. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- **Inventory & Equipment Management**: Manage laboratory supplies, chemicals, and equipment, ensuring everything is stocked and in good working condition. Oversee the maintenance of lab instruments.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the production, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure the timely delivery of lab results and to resolve any issues related to têxtile quality.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in têxtile technology or a related field.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in apparel/ garment industry or any related industry.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
