**Key Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, assembly diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Carry out fitting, marking, and layout work on stainless steel plates, pipes, and structural materials.
- Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, bending, and tack welding as required for assembly.
- Fit and assemble SS components with precision to ensure required tolerances.
- Use measuring instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
- Coordinate with welders, fabricators, and supervisors for smooth workflow.
- Follow proper safety practices and maintain housekeeping at the workplace.
- Inspect and verify final fit-up before welding and dispatch.
- Assist in installation, repair, and maintenance work when required.
- Report any material shortages, defects, or quality issues to the supervisor.
- **Duties and Responsibilities**:
**1**. Reading and Interpreting Blueprints: Understanding and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to plan and execute welding tasks accurately.

**2**.Selecting and Preparing Materials: Choosing appropriate welding materials (metals, alloys, etc.) and preparing them by cleaning, cutting, and shaping as needed for the welding process.

**3**.Operating Welding Equipment: Proficiency in using various welding techniques and equipment such as arc welders, gas welding equipment, or specialized machinery. This includes setting up, adjusting, and maintaining welding equipment.

**4**.Executing Welding Procedures: Performing MIG, TIG and other types of weld based on the project needs according to specified procedures and standards, ensuring precision, quality, and adherence to safety protocols.

**5**.Inspecting and Testing Welds: Conducting visual inspections and, when required, using non-destructive testing methods to ensure the quality and integrity of welded joints.

**6.**Following Safety Standards: Adhering strictly to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining a safe work environment.

**7**.Collaborating and Communicating: Working closely with other team members, engineers, or supervisors to understand project requirements, communicate progress, and address any issues that may arise during the welding process.

**8**.Maintaining Documentation: Keeping accurate records of work performed, materials used, inspections conducted, and any relevant reports/documentation required by the employer or industry regulations.

**9.**Troubleshooting and Repair: Identifying and resolving problems that may occur during the welding process, such as equipment malfunctions or defects in the welds, and performing repairs or adjustments as necessary.

1**0.**Continuous Learning and Improvement: Staying updated on advancements in welding technology, techniques,and safety standards. Pursuing further training or certifications to enhance skills and knowledge.

**Duties and Responsibilities can be modified at any time as per the requirement.

**Requirements/Qualification**:
Education and Training:

- High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
- Completion of a welding certificate program or vocational training from a technical school, community college, or apprenticeship.
- Some employers may prefer or require additional certifications or degrees related to welding, such as an associate degree in welding technology or engineering.

2. Skills and Abilities:

- Proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, stick welding) and knowledge of different types of metals.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and welding symbols.
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle welding equipment and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and adherence to safety standards to prevent accidents and injuries.

3. Certifications and Licenses:

- Obtaining certifications from recognized organizations such as the American Welding Society (AWS) can enhance job prospects. Certifications might include Certified Welder (CW), Certified Welding Inspector

(CWI), or specialized certifications for specific techniques or materials.

**Work conditions (not limited to) read thoroughly**:

- NO OVER TIME whatsoever may be the case shall be applicable. Since, If any testing and manufacturing procedure are in progress and demands extra time (if required).
- WORK DAY IS ACCOUNTED if utilised for more than 2hrs. Attending a complaint/emergency is not accounted for.
- No advance will be given in any conditions in the first year of your employment/association with the company.
- Expenses made for work will be reimbursed against the expense sheet weekly (Not acceptable beyond 15 days of the expense date).
- Unplanned leaves shall be deducted as 3 days (except medical conditions to be supported by documents)
