**Title: Software Engineer-Java (1 year experience)**

**Location: Bangalore/Kolkata/Udaipur**

**Duration: Full Time position**

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with at least 1 year of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be entrusted with owning features, modules, or products within our scope. Collaborating closely with the PM team, you'll define technical requirements and develop detailed designs. Your duties will encompass writing and reviewing code adhering to coding standards, conducting unit tests, and ensuring overall code quality. As a pivotal member of our team, you will also oversee product delivery, including conducting demos, facilitating error-free production deployments, and effectively troubleshooting issues as they arise.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take ownership of features, modules, or products within the assigned scope.
- Collaborate with the PM team to define technical requirements and create detailed designs.
- Write, review, and maintain code according to coding guidelines.
- Conduct unit testing and ensure code quality.
- Facilitate product delivery, including conducting product demos and ensuring smooth production deployments.
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring mínimal disruption to operations.

Must-Haves:

- At least 1 year of development experience.
- Proficiency in server-side development with Spring Framework, MVC, and preferably Spring Boot, particularly in Java 17 or later.
- Experience in Java multi-threading and database performance optimizations.
- Knowledge of Microservices and design patterns.
- Experience with webscale software development tools such as Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Cassandra, and MySQL.
- Demonstrated experience in continuous delivery mode and end-to-end testing.
- Proficiency in automated testing, preferably with experience in GitLab.
- Experience in building RESTful web services and familiarity with AWS Services.
- Proven ability to engage directly with customers and address their needs effectively.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding solutions.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for the product.

Nice to Haves:

- Familiarity with LDAP, mail protocols (POP3, SMTP, MAPI), and scheduling (Quartz).
- Experience with observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
- Knowledge of event-based architecture.
- Familiarity with GraphQL.

**Salary**: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
