**Panchakarma Therapist**

**Roles**:

- Work under the supervision of an Ayurvedic doctor to deliver personalized Panchakarma therapies for residents, promoting detoxification, rejuvenation, and overall well-being.
- Consult with residents to understand their health concerns, dosha constitution, and suitability for Panchakarma therapies.
- Perform a variety of Panchakarma cleansing and purification procedures following Ayurvedic principles.
- Adhere to strict protocols and hygiene standards to ensure the safety and effectiveness of Panchakarma treatments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with a qualified Ayurvedic doctor to understand resident diagnoses, dosha imbalances, and recommended Panchakarma therapies.
- Conduct consultations with residents to discuss Panchakarma procedures, answer questions, and obtain informed consent.
- Prepare treatment rooms and gather necessary equipment and supplies for specific Panchakarma procedures (e.g., Snehana, Virechana, Basti).
- Perform a variety of Panchakarma treatments as directed by the Ayurvedic doctor, including:

- Snehana (oleation): Administering medicated ghee for internal or external lubrication.
- Virechana (purgation): Administering herbal preparations to induce controlled elimination.
- Basti (enemas): Administering medicated enemas for detoxification and rejuvenation.
- Other Panchakarma treatments as offered by the facility.
- Monitor resident responses to Panchakarma therapies and report any concerns or adverse reactions to the Ayurvedic doctor.
- Maintain detailed records of Panchakarma procedures performed, resident responses, and any adjustments made during treatment.
- Adhere to strict hygiene protocols before, during, and after each Panchakarma treatment to ensure resident safety and prevent the spread of germs.
- Clean and disinfect all equipment and treatment areas used for Panchakarma therapies.
- Collaborate effectively with the Ayurvedic doctor, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in resident care.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in Ayurvedic medicine and Panchakarma practices.

**Additional Skills and Qualities**:

- Strong understanding of Ayurvedic principles, dosha theory, and Panchakarma treatments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with residents undergoing Panchakarma therapies.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment under the supervision of an Ayurvedic doctor.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to following established protocols for safe and effective Panchakarma therapy administration.
- Strong sense of empathy and compassion to support residents during their Panchakarma journey.
- Physically able to perform some tasks that may require lifting or assisting residents during treatments.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
