Daycare Teacher

**Key Responsibilities**
**1. Operations and Administration**:
- Oversee the daily operations of the daycare, including scheduling, staff allocation, and facility maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national childcare regulations and licensing requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of enrollment, attendance, staff certifications, and incident reports.
- Prepare monthly reports for the management on daycare operations, including enrollment trends, budget utilization, and program effectiveness.
**2. Childcare Program Management**:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational programs for children.
- Ensure activities foster social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.
- Monitor the quality of care provided and ensure that children are engaged in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
- Organize events, celebrations, and parent-teacher meetings to encourage community engagement.
**3. Staff Supervision and Development**:
- Recruit, train, and supervise daycare staff, including caregivers, assistants, and support staff.
- Conduct regular staff evaluations and provide constructive feedback for professional development.
- Ensure staff adherence to safety, hygiene, and program protocols.
- Address staff concerns and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
**4. Communication and Parent Relations**:
- Act as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians, addressing questions, concerns, and feedback.
- Conduct regular parent meetings and provide updates on their child’s progress and daycare activities.
- Build positive relationships with families and foster an inclusive community environment.
- Share updates, newsletters, and schedules with parents regularly.
**5. Safety and Health Management**:
- Ensure that all daycare areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
- Implement and oversee emergency protocols, including fire drills and first-aid procedures.
- Monitor children’s health and well-being, addressing medical or special needs promptly.
- Ensure all staff members are trained in CPR, first aid, and emergency response.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
