RESTAURANT HOST/HOSTESS
- To abide by the mission statement of the hotel, department and the respective section.
- To receive the guests and conduct them to the table.
- To ensure that a guest is warmly greeted and escorted to the table.
- To welcome regular guests by their name.
- To present the menu and note down the orders.
- To inform the Catering Assistant and also the Head Waiter/Assistant Head Waiter/Steward about the same.
- To help in the proper execution of the order by assisting in service whenever required.
- To answer question whenever asked by the guests.
- To inform the guests about the important aspects and speciality of the restaurant.
- To inform the guests about the preparation of the dishes served in the restaurant briefly whenever asked.
- To assist the guests in ordering items keeping in mind their preferences.
- To handle guests effectively with competence by observing restaurant manners.
- To ensure special instructions and requests if any from a guest are duly carried out by keeping the Restaurant Manager informed of the same.
- To attend all guests complaints in a prompt manner.
- To ensure that the guest is comfortable at all times in the restaurant.
- To wish the guests while leaving the restaurant and ask them their opinion on the visit.
- To record all reservations correctly.
- To handle cash as and when required.
- To clear the table after the guest leaves.
- To ensure that tables are kept clear, hygienically and guests served promptly.
- To ensure that uniforms are always neat and clean and observe the grooming standards as laid down by the hotel.
- To always adhere to personal grooming as per the standards laid down by the hotel and maintain high standards of grooming.
- To perform such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by persons placed in authority above you.

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dehra Dun, Uttarakhand: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
