**We are looking for an aspiring fresher graduates for the role of Copy Editor.**

**Role / Designation** - Copy Editor Trainee

**Job Location** - Chennai (Taramani)

**Work mode** - Work from office

**Shift -** Rotational

**What an Copyeditor will do?**

Copy editing is a process that ensures that text is correct in terms of spelling, grammar, punctuation, terminology and formatting. Copy editing also ensures that the idea the writer wishes to portray is clear and easy to understand by the readers.
- Edit documents as per the publisher’s language and style requirements.
- Check the Manuscript/articles submitted by authors for punctuation, spelling, clarity,
- Ensure that the documents are ready and well set for the next stage, which is

language editing, and converting them into a marked-up document.
- While doing the file, clarify all doubts/instructions then and there and avoid assumptions.
- Should be able to handle the complicated articles, critical jobs without errors.

**Qualification**:

- Graduate from life science background from 2022 to 2024 academic year.
- Excellent English skills (both verbal & written).
- Should have basic computer knowledge and should be good in typing.
- Proficiency in MS office tools like MS Word.
- Good eye for detail and should be able to identify mistakes in content.
- Should be an enthusiastic learner and have a passion for reading / editing.

**Shift Timings : Rotational Shifts**

**First Shift**

6:15 AM to 1:45 PM

**Second Shift**

1:45 PM to 9:15 PM

**Third Shift**

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹220,000.00 per year
