Job Profile_

Resource Efficient Technologies (RET) area in Environment & Waste Management Division is looking for a suitable person at the Research Associate level for their projects on Resource Efficient Cleaner Production (RECP) and waste minimization, especially related to plastics. Most of the work will be carried out onsite at the enterprises; this involves assessment and implementation of RECP and waste minimization measures to save resources (energy, water, materials) as well as waste in small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The work also involves data collection, compilation, report preparation, presentations and training.

2 - 5 Years
- Qualification_

Basic degree in engineering
- with minimum 2 years industrial experience required; certified energy auditor preferred
- Skills_

Good communication skills - both oral and written; should be able to work closely with small and medium scale enterprises and in large
- multidisciplinary teams; should be willing to travel
