Job description
Job Description for Piping Designer having good experience in PDMS Plant 3D modeling.
1) Qualifications : Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in mechanical Engineer
2) Years of experience : 3 to 12 years
3) 3D software knowledge : PDMS / 3D Modeling.
4) Areas of experience : Experience in Piping Design and detail Engineering for - Oil & Gas fields, Water Treatment Project, Chemical project
Roles & Responsibilities:
Equipment modeling in PDMS with respect to equipment data sheet/ Vendor data sheet & PID.
Piping 3D modeling
Structural 3D modeling
Cable tray, foundation and 3D modeling of all components applicable in plant.
Extraction of Material Take-off from P&ID and Layout.
Review of Piping Model.
Extraction and checking of manual Piping MTO
Checking and finalizing Piping General Arrangement Drawing.
Preparation of Material Take Off.
Finalizing of Equipment Nozzle orientation.
Generation and finalization of piping isometrics
Coordinating with Piping Leads, Stress Lead and other Discipline Leads towards completion of project on time and accuracy.
Knowledge in piping materials / codes & stand works.

5) Requirements:
Shall have working experience in engineering consultancy and/ or EPC companies related to Oil & Gas field.
Good Designing skills.
Good communication and reporting skills.

This job is on contract basis for 6 Months which will be extendable based on new management.
