**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement comprehensive placement strategies aligned with the organization's mission and objectives.
- Research and identify potential employer partners across various industries, considering diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, understanding their hiring needs and matching them with qualified trainees.
- Coach and support trainees through the job search process, including resume writing, interview preparation, and career development.
- Establish contact with Alumni, Industrial veterans, and volunteers to arrange for motivational talks, workshops, or mock interviews.
- Facilitate job melas, workshops, Disability Awareness/ Gender Diversity Orientation and other events to connect trainees with potential employers.
- Monitor the placement progress of trainees, measuring success rates and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a holistic and supportive environment for trainees.

**Requirements**:

- Any degree with a growth mindset, willingness to learn, and passion to work in the social sector.
- 0-2 years of experience in a related field are eligible.
- Good English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word.
- Empathy towards working with persons with disabilities and other marginalized communities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and a sense of ownership.
- Meticulous and able to follow through on tasks.
- Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic, challenging, and fast-moving environment.
- Team player, cooperative, able to take direction, and develop others.
- Reliable, focused, and consistently meets goals and deadlines.
- Knowledge of Indian Sign Language will be a plus.

Hiring Model

We follow an intern-to-full-time employment model. You will join as an intern, and based on your performance, you will be converted into a full-time employee. The minimum duration for the internship is 3 months.
