**Job Summary**

The Homeroom Teacher for Grade 1 plays a vital role in fostering a nurturing, inclusive, andstimulating classroom environment that supports the academic, emotional, social, and physical development of young learners. The teacher is responsible for planning, implementing, and assessingengaging educational activities and curricula aligned with the school's mission and educational standards.

Key Responsibilities

**1. Classroom Instruction**:

- Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the diverselearning needs of students.Teach foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies.Integrate creative teaching methods, including storytelling, art, music, and play, to make learningengaging and effective

**. 2. Student Development**
- Promote a safe and positive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.Foster students’ social and emotional development through effective classroom management, empathy, and relationship-building.Identify and address individual student needs, including learning challenges or giftedness, throughdifferentiated instruction.

**3. Communication and Collaboration**
- Maintain open and regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress andclassroom activities.Collaborate with fellow teachers, specialists, and staff to ensure cohesive support for students’ academicand personal development.Participate in parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and school events

4**. Classroom Management**
- Establish clear classroom rules and routines to maintain an orderly and respectful learning environment.Encourage positive behavior through praise, reinforcement, and appropriate disciplinary measures.

**5. Assessment and Reporting**
- Assess and document student progress through observations, assignments, and formal evaluations.Prepare detailed and accurate progress reports and share feedback with students and parents/guardians.

**6. Professional Development**
- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education through professional learning opportunities.Participate in school-provided training sessions and workshops as required.

**Qualifications**:
**Educational Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field. **Experience**:

- Previous teaching experience at the elementary level (Grade 1 experience preferred).
- Familiarity with early childhood education standards and developmentally appropriate practices.

- Creativity and enthusiasm for teaching young children.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with students and families.
- Organizational and time-management skills.

**Work Conditions**
- Full-time position with typical school hours and occasional evening/weekend commitments for eventsormeetings.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
