Understanding client requirements The supervisor must understand the client's needs and communicate effectively with Clients and also the team involved in the project
- Preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Final Bill, Checking of Contractors / Vendors Bill. Certifying bill of payment.
- Setting goals The supervisor sets project goals and oversees the project until it's complete by preparing project schedule.
- Managing staff The supervisor organizes staff work schedules and may also train new construction employees.
- Ensuring safety The supervisor ensures that work is carried out safely and is knowledgeable of building codes and construction safety regulations.
- Ordering supplies The supervisor orders building supplies and schedules equipment maintenance.

Other responsibilities of a site supervisor include: Interfacing between clients and departments within the organization, Helping project managers plan work, Attending site management meetings, and Performing first aid in emergencies. Site supervisors should be detail-oriented and have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
