Tax Analyst-2

Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring the compliance of various Indirect Tax Obligations.

Work with the Service provider in providing the required reports and data for preparation of the returns.

Review the returns received from the service provider and get the necessary approvals before filing the returns.

Work with the respective teams to ensure the Tax payments are paid on time.

Prepare the monthly reconciliations and have a complete working knowledge of OIM process.

Keep track of the Tax law changes and ensure the same updated in the systems.

Work with the Indirect Group Tax team for all the tax changes, etc.

Regular connect with the Controllership team is required.

Competency /Job Skills:
Strong technical proficiency in accounting.

Strong Indirect Tax knowledge and experience is preferred.

Prior experience with accounting/balance sheet control, reconciliations and journal entries.

Prior experience in various Indirect tax obligations. E.g.: SUT, Property Tax, Business Licenses, Annual Filings, Registrations

Provide the required support for all Audits relating to Indirect tax.

Learning Ability:
Ability to meet deadlines under pressure

Clear and effective communicator

Strong Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

Ability to use initiative to make decisions independently

Be able to identify opportunities for improvement.

**Experience**:
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Accounting and Taxation.

B.Com ; M.Com/MBA (Finance) / CA Inter

Prior working experience in the field of Taxation.

Preparation and filing of Indirect tax returns.

Finalization of reconciliations.

Balance sheet review.

Audit experience is also preferable.

Might be required to work in night shifts occasionally during the filing periods.
