**Job Title**: SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) Consultant / Support Engineer

**Location : Bangalore**

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- **Solution Manager Configuration and Administration**:

- Configure and administer **SAP Solution Manager (SolMan)** modules, including but not limited to **ChaRM (Change Request Management)**, **IT Service Management (ITSM)**, **Test Management**, **Monitoring and Alerting Infrastructure (MAI)**, **Business Process Operations**, and **Project and Portfolio Management (PPM)**.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the Solution Manager landscape, monitoring the performance of various systems and resolving any configuration or technical issues.
- **Change Request Management (ChaRM)**:

- Implement and manage ChaRM processes to handle the creation, approval, and deployment of changes in SAP environments.
- Work with development and operations teams to manage transport requests, ensuring that changes are properly documented, tested, and approved before deployment to production systems.
- **Monitoring and Alerting**:

- Set up and maintain monitoring for SAP systems using Solution Manager, including **System Monitoring**, **End-User Experience Monitoring**, **Integration Monitoring**, and **Job Monitoring**.
- Ensure proper alerts are configured and respond to incidents or performance issues identified by the monitoring tools.
- **IT Service Management (ITSM)**:

- Manage **Incident Management**, **Problem Management**, and **Service Desk** processes within SolMan.
- Configure ITSM workflows to optimize service request handling, escalation processes, and end-user support operations.
- **Test Management**:

- Utilize Solution Manager for test management, including **Test Plan creation**, **Test Execution**, and **Test Reporting**.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to manage the testing lifecycle, ensuring system upgrades and new deployments are fully tested and documented.
- **Business Process Documentation**:

- Maintain detailed documentation of **business processes** within Solution Manager.
- Work with business analysts and functional teams to document existing and new processes, ensuring alignment with operational and strategic goals.
- **Implementation and Support**:

- Participate in SAP project implementations, upgrades, and migrations, ensuring that Solution Manager supports the necessary functionality.
- Provide **post-go-live support**, ensuring that SolMan is properly aligned to monitor the new SAP landscapes and business processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SolMan functionality and integration with SAP systems.
- **Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing**:

- Work closely with SAP Basis, development teams, and business stakeholders to support cross-functional initiatives.
- Provide training and support to users on Solution Manager capabilities, including change management, test management, and monitoring.
- Document best practices, provide technical guides, and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.

**Required Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Technical Skills**:

- **SAP Solution Manager**: In-depth knowledge of SolMan functionality, especially key modules such as **ChaRM**, **ITSM**, **Monitoring & Alerting Infrastructure**, **Test Management**, and **Solution Documentation**.
- **SAP Systems**: Strong understanding of SAP architecture, including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, NetWeaver, and various SAP modules (FI, SD, MM, etc.).
- **SAP Transport Management**: Experience managing transports, configuring transport routes, and integrating with SAP systems.
- **Monitoring Tools**: Proficiency in setting up and managing system monitoring, including performance monitoring, job monitoring, and real-time alerts.
- **Experience**:

- 3-5+ years of experience in SAP Solution Manager administration, configuration, and support.
- Experience with SAP project implementations and system upgrades is preferred.
- Experience in large-scale SAP environments with complex landscapes.
- **Certifications**:

- **SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP Solution Manager** is highly desirable.
- Other relevant SAP certifications (e.g., Basis, S/4HANA) are an advantage.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with business and technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- **Preferred Knowledge**:

- Knowledge of **S/4HANA**, **SAP Fiori**, and cloud environments (e.g., SAP on AWS or Azure).
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies is an added advantage.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with **Solution Manager 7.2** is a plus.
- Exposure to third-party integrations and managing external tools in conjunction with SAP Solution Manager.

Pay: From ₹1,500,000.00 per year
