- **Campaign execution**: Running marketing campaigns in the field, such as product sampling, leafleting, in-store promotions, special events, and building product displays
- **Customer interaction**: Interacting with customers to generate leads and inform future campaigns
- **Data collection**: Gathering consumer data to generate leads and inform future campaigns
- **Communication**: Communicating with customers about sales promotions, product pitches, and company information
- **Collaboration**: Working with sales and marketing teams to help sales penetrate local geographies
- **Reporting**: Reporting on the effectiveness of sales efforts
