- **Quality Control**:MLTs are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of lab tests by performing quality control procedures, calibrating equipment, and verifying test results.
- **Data Management**:They record, analyze, and interpret test results, maintain accurate lab records, and communicate findings to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- **Infection Control**:MLTs adhere to strict safety protocols to prevent the spread of infections within the laboratory environment.
- **Equipment Maintenance**:They operate and maintain various laboratory equipment, including microscopes, centrifuges, and automated analyzers.
