Vocal Teacher

IcePop Art Café is a vibrant and creative space that combines the joy of art, music, and culture with a refreshing café experience. Our café offers a range of artistic workshops, including music classes, to inspire students of all ages. We are looking for a passionate and skilled **Vocal Teacher** to join our team and contribute to the musical development of our students.

**Responsibilities**:

- Teach **vocal techniques and music theory** to students of various ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced.
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that focus on vocal warm-ups, breath control, pitch accuracy, and musical expression.
- Introduce students to different genres of music (classical, contemporary, folk, etc.) while encouraging personal musical exploration.
- Foster a positive, inspiring environment for students to build confidence in their vocal abilities.
- Prepare students for performances, recitals, and examinations, while offering constructive feedback for improvement.
- Organize and participate in musical events, concerts, and performances at the café.
- Provide one-on-one vocal coaching as needed, tailoring instruction to individual student needs and goals.
- Maintain a regular schedule of classes and track student progress through evaluations and assessments.
- Collaborate with the café’s team to integrate music classes with other artistic activities, events, and themed workshops.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Music, Vocal Performance, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) teaching vocals or working as a vocal coach.
- Proficiency in a variety of music styles and vocal techniques.
- Strong knowledge of vocal pedagogy, music theory, and ear training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Experience working with students of different ages, from children to adults.
- Ability to prepare students for performances, exams, and auditions.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Ability to play a musical instrument (piano, guitar, etc.) to accompany vocal lessons is a plus.
- Familiarity with music production software and recording techniques is an added advantage.
- Creative and flexible teaching methods that incorporate group activities, improvisation, and performance skills.
- Ability to organize and participate in live performances, both solo and ensemble.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and time management.
