Legal Officer for a Retail Organisation

**Position: Legal Officer for a Retail organisation at Marine Lines, Mumbai**
Qualifications Required**:Graduate/Degree in any discipline**
Experience Required**:3-5 years of experience in the legal profession, either in a Corporate legal department or in a legal firm.**
Other skills required: Should know MS Office.
Job Responsibility:
✔ Attending and conducting matters related to Maharashtra land revenue code & Maharashtra tenancy & agriculture land matters
✔ **Visiting Talasari, circle officer, tehsildar, collector offices, sub registrar, taking searches etc.**
✔ Visiting police station to file complaints
✔ Coordinating with other departments of the company in order to maintain the legal compliance
✔ Keeping track and record on the proper implementation procedures and keeping track on the timeline of the project completion
✔ Maintaining track of the site operation in order to prevent litigation risk
✔ Replying to notice and filing complaints, drafting and reviewing legal documents including sale agreements, non disclosure agreements, etc
✔ Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems, provide assistance in order to maintain compliance with legal requirements
✔ Appearing attending and briefing the counsel in any matter related to the company and its directors, employees.
✔ Organize all legal documents and ensure they are updated.
✔ Research and authenticate important case information.
✔ Edit and proofread all legal documents.
✔ **Will be required to travel once a month to Talasari, Varvada for 5 to 6 days.**
Type of the organisation: Type of organisation: 104 Year old family-run Dairy based in Mumbai, making high end quality dairy products and Indian sweets.

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
